Bruno, the ten year old Powderpuff Chinese Crested dog has had bilateral RidgeStop™ procedures to treat medial patella luxation using the Orthomed RidgeStop™ system with a size 1.5 UHMWP implant.
The surgery was undertaken by Robert White at Donaldson’s Vets in Huddersfield. Following the procedure, with the support of Rhona Warnock at the Animal Rehabilitation Centre, Bruno has gone on to make incredible progress.
Bruno’s owner, Karen Mason, commented: “It’s great to see Bruno back to his usual self - freely running and playing again, which he struggled to do before this operation.”
